2019 Photographic Safari
In 2019 w visited South Africa & Namibia from February to April. We chose these months because we hoped after the summer rains to find the Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park & Etosha National parks to be covered in green grass with large herds and many newborn animals. We however discovered that the rains had not come. The KTFP was very dry, & unlike on our previous visits only scanty herds of springbok & wildebeest were present. Etosha was also dry but animals were plentiful at the permanent water hole. The rains only arrived in the last days of our trip
