A spotted hyaena (Crocuta crocuta) with a just visible snare still around its swollen neck warily watches elephant (Loxodonta africana) casually pass by at Klein Namutoni Waterhole Etosha National Park, Namibia. We reported the hyena & were told it would be destroyed and not treated.
