2012 photographic safari
In 2012 we spent 4 months from the beginning of August to the end of November in Southern Africa. We briefly visted Mokala before going to Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park for five weeks. We then left South Africa via the border gate at Mata Mata gate to enter Namibia. We stayed in Etosha for 5 weeks, concentrating on the area around Halali camp. Then we entered the Caprivi strip to vist Mahangu, & Mamili National Parks. We then turned south, & after a few days photographing carmine bee-eaters at Kalizo Lodge entered Botswana. We camped in Chobe & Savuti Game Reserves for 2 weeks before heading south west via Maun & Ghanzi to re-enter the Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park via the Kaa gate.
