This immature African fish-eagle (Haliaeetus vocifer) lands on a dead southern white rhinoceros (Ceratotherium simum) at a water hole on the S21 road near Lower Sabie camp, Kruger National Park, South Africa. After comments and observations on this specific death the Kruger Parks forum in March 2012 felt it was felt that most likely thjat it was killed in a fight and was not caused by poaching.
