Shaft-tailed Whydah (Vidua regia) at sunrise at Kalkheuvel waterhole, Etosha National Park, Namibia.
Biological Note:- this male has black crown, a golden breast and four elongated black tail shaft feathers with expanded tips. After the breeding season he sheds its long tail and grows olive brown female-like plumage.
