Hyena & elephants

A spotted hyaena (Crocuta crocuta) with a just visible snare still around its swollen neck saunters past a herd of thirsty elephants (Loxodonta africana) at Klein Namutoni Waterhole Etosha National Park, Namibia. We reported the hyena & were told it would be destroyed and not treated.
