Etosha National Park

Zebra (Equus quagga burchellii) sprint though the water after a false alarm at Okaukuejo waterhole, Etosha National park, Namibia.

Biology Note: The zebras' stripes may a) confuse predators when a herd bursts into flight, b) help cool the animal by different colours having different radiant/absorptive heat capacities which produces circulation of air, & c) deter tsetse fly.
